Survey on efficiency

After realising the project objectives, we felt necessary to make a survey on efficiency as a control of our efforts made on stopping the lack of information during the situation survey.

Questionnaire survey examining contentment

The realisation of the project is about to finish soon, on 31March 2004 and before that we have carried out a questionnaire survey examining contentment including the target group as planned.
The aim of the questionnaire survey examining contentment was to acquire information on how the planned objectives were realised on the basis of the personal opinions of the people of the target group.
When working out the questionnaires we tried to make simple, value choosing questions by which the people answering the questions can classify the services provided by the ’Pályaív’ periodical and the PIT-points and can give opinions on the usefulness of the certain parts of the information basis.
The information gained at evaluating the answers mean a feedback towards the realisation of the project objectives and on the basis of these we can define the further directions and fields of development and modifications.

As the Internet is increasingly gaining ground and the number of users is growing, Internet-based career guidance, career orientation and correction information bases and the creation of websites where all the information necessary for career guidance is available and accessible for those visiting the portal can be considered to stop a gap in Hungary.

What is ePálya?

The purpose of the ePálya Portal is to provide an internet based information database, service and IT infrastructure for the visitors and staff of the vocational guidance and career orientation network. It is important, that the portal is suitable for the search of information in a self-service form, just like other IT systems built upon the internet. There is a unique solution on the portal, the Work Orientation Interest Survey Questionnaire, besides the Career Search and the Career Planner program packages provide personalized guidance by means of the internet.

Information on the experiences of the training programmes implemented in the frame of the project

Aim of the training sub-programme:
To create an Internet based career information guidance network with the training of instructors, counsellors and pedagogues, which helps making the decision of youngsters being before career decision and adults with the method of self-information and personal counselling considering labour-market demands.

New Vocational and Career Guidance System has been Established with Significant Information Technology Development in the South Great Plain Region

The consortium of 22 members led by the Békés County Labour Centre established a new vocational and career guidance system in the frame of an EU-supported Phare project in the South Great Plain Region, which has a unique IT development as its vastness, complexity and multiplicity are concerned. It could raise interest in the EU and even throughout the world. I am asking Dr. Nagy Ágnes, leader of the project and director of the Békés County Labour Centre, about the project and the new possibilities provided by the new system operating from April 2004.

It is not easy to choose a trade, which, on one hand suits the individual’s skills, abilities, interest fields, on the other hand, which are in demand of the labour market so probably one can find a job with it.

The Békés County Labour Centre’s Leonardo da Vinci project won the Quality in Mobility Award
